Thursday was a washout, literally!

It was cloudy and drizzling for most of the day. So, I couldn't use the line trimmer on the rocks around the front garden. The sun did come out briefly around 4:00 p.m. And then it really rained for about a half hour, before switching back to a drizzle.

Sidebar: When I say drizzle, it was more like a heavy fog. You couldn't see raindrops, but you could feel it on your face if you went outside.

It must have rained again overnight because everything was much wetter Friday morning. I checked the gauge and we picked up a little less than 1/4 inch of rain total.

None of which mattered as I was sick all day and all night. I never spent more than an hour, day or night, without visiting the bathroom.

Since I was housebound, anyway, I spent almost on hour on the phone with Blue Cross Blue Shield trying to resolve a problem with one of my medical bills. In the end, I think (and hope) we worked it out.

Now onto food:

I had hard scrambled eggs with ketchup, along with some toast, for breakfast.

I made a tuna fish sandwich for lunch.

I ate left over pepper steak with rice for dinner.

Since I couldn't really "sleep" sleep, I stayed up until the end of the Late Show with Seth Meyers. Then I slept for about an hour and the cycle began again...
