I woke up at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday. It was warm by then and getting hotter. In fact, it was just about a repeat of the day before, except that it was cloudy.

After breakfast, I read until the temperature hit 72 degrees. Then I went outside to work in the yard.

My back was really killing me, so I figured the last batch of trash could wait another day or two. Instead, I started raking the back gardens to get off the leaves and pine cones from the mulch.

I worked until I got sweaty, then I decided that was enough.

I went back inside and took a shower.

I had skipped lunch, so I made an early dinner. I baked a  frozen pizza after adding banana peppers and more mozzarella.

It started to rain, so I sat on the front porch and watched the lightning.

I went to bed after the 11:00 p.m. news.
