It rained sometime in the night as the street was wet when I woke up on Thursday. I checked the rain gauge (yes, it's back outside) and it was only about 1/4 inch of rain.

I had oatmeal for breakfast again.

I tried to start the push mower but it wouldn't fire up. I thought my arm was going to fall off! I think I'll get some starting fluid tomorrow at O'Rielly's.

We are in for some colder weather the next three days, so I made some potato soup for dinner. It was pretty good! And, there are a lot of leftovers for the chilly weekend.

I watched TV until 11:30 p.m., then I went to bed.

  1. What the heck is starting fluid?? and if it much?

  2. LOL! I can tell you never worked construction. It's a very combustible spray. You normally spray it in the air filter of diesel engines (like on a bulldozer or backhoe)but it works on gasoline engines too. Hopefully, once the motor starts, it will suck the gas up and into the carburetor.

  3. I'll let you know the cost when I pick it up.
