As I said, in the last post, there was quite a thunderstorm early Saturday morning. It was still raining when I got out of bed, occasionally coming down hard.
I made scrambled eggs and toast for breakfast.
Amanda and Keldon stopped by briefly on their way to Keldon's 10:00 a.m. karate class and she dropped off the chocolate covered pretzels. I had ordered them from Keldon as some sort of school fundraiser. I felt bad she had to run through the pouring rain just to get to the porch (I told her I could just get them Monday). I ate about a third of them before it dawned on me to take a photo.

The rain lessened a bit, so I went to CVS and picked up $102.00 worth of prescriptions. BTW, I had just paid $3,184.24 to the Infusion Clinic yesterday for another bill. That puts me a just over $5,000.00 to date for this infection business.

The Detroit
I ate the other sweet potato for lunch (getting tired of potato soup). We had another thunderstorm in the early afternoon. But it tapered off and stopped altogether after 3:00 p.m.
My brother Carl called to check up on me.
I had potato soup (again) for dinner. Two things: I should have cut the recipe in half. And, the roux I added to the broth turns into glue in the fridge. making it difficult to warm up the soup in the microwave.
I watched the evening news and then a movie. I watched the 11:00 p.m. movie and Saturday Night Live. After that, I went to bed.
