It was still lightly snowing when I woke up on Sunday morning. I had two Eggo waffles for breakfast.

Melissa was supposed to come over around 2:00 p.m.,  so I used most of the morning hours cleaning up the house. Since I hadn't done it in three weeks, it took a while!

She showed up at 1:30 p.m. with a TON of food! Various soups in freezer bags, spaghetti and meatballs, sloppy joes, pulled pork, meatloaf and mashed potatoes, etc., etc., etc. She also brought lunch meats and cheeses, coleslaw, pickles, onion buns and a loaf of bread.

I put most of it in the freezer.

She also brought me a present: The Amazon Fire and an internal antenna.

Sidebar: I believe it was a gift for shut-ins.

I told her I already had an antenna and got mine out. However mine required a plug and I had no outlets available. So, we used hers. She hooked it all up for me. But, we couldn't activate it as I had no idea what the password for the Wi-Fi is.

I sent a text to Jake, hoping against hope he still remembered it. But, he still hadn't replied by the time she left. I assured her I could finish the job, once I learned the password.

I ate the meatloaf, mashed potatoes and sweet corn for dinner. It was excellent!

It started snowing heavy around 7:00 p.m. and I was glad Melissa didn't have to drive through it.

I watched the Super Bowl. It was a really good game, even though the team I was rooting for lost. And, the half time show was interesting as it featured a hologram of Prince.

When it was over, I switched to reading until bedtime.
