I woke up early again on Wednesday. I had some oatmeal for breakfast and then ate a plum for dessert.
I putzed around a while, waiting for the garage to warm up. I did the Wednesday wash and made some coleslaw (bag of shredded cabbage and carrots, topped with a jar of sauce). The coleslaw went into the fridge to get happy.
I finally pulled the truck out. I moved the downed branch in the front yard.
Then I got to work. There were several dried drips (both in the white primer and the gray paint) that I had to fix. I painted them and then painted the whole crib except for the inside of the hearts.
Sidebar: I had painted the primer inside the hearts, but I realized the brush was too big to fit.
So, I put some town clothes on and went to Michael's. I bought a half-inch artist's brush.
Back home, it was already almost 5:00 p.m. and I was bushed. So, I pulled the truck back inside and changed clothes.
I ate two more hot dogs and a bowl of coleslaw for dinner.
My daughter Melissa called and we talked for a long long time...
There was nothing interesting on TV, so I watched a movie on my DVD player: "The Thirteenth Warrior." It's one of my favorites.
When it was done, so was I. I turned off the TV, shut off the light and went to bed.
