Tuesday was cool again in the morning.

I had a cheeseburger with coleslaw for lunch and then went to Lowe's. I got a spike and two wave petunias for the red planter. I also got some marigolds for the vegetable garden. Sadly they didn't have any eggplant (Home Depot only had one and wanted four).

Sidebar: Hopefully, Home Depot will have restocked next time I go there.

It was still cool whenever the sun was not out or if the wind was blowing.

When I got home, I changed clothes and planted the front planter. Then I went out back and finally planted the vegetable garden (except for the other egg plant and green bean seeds).

I came back inside just before 8:00 p.m. and washed up. I heated up more of the ham steak and an ear of corn for dinner. I ate that watching NCIS, then I went to bed.

  1. Why don't you just start whatever plants you want from seed a few weeks before you plant outside. It simple and costs almost nothing...

  2. I would love to, but I have only ONE south facing window and its in deep shade. Tried it several times, all failures.
