(not in the Park)
(and I know it wasn't the fourth of July).
But, I do like that song, LOL!
I woke up without the alarm just after 7:00 a.m. (again). So, I'm thinking that's my natural wake-up time, not 5:15 a.m. Good to know for retirement, I suppose.
My barber was on vacation last week, and people were stacked up for haircuts. The earliest appointment I could get was 10:30 a.m. when I called on Wednesday. So, I putzed for a long time.
I stripped the bed and started the weekend wash. I ate two pieces of toast with that honey in the comb (delicious, BTW) and watched the morning news. Then I finally shaved, showered and got dressed.
I got my haircut and went to Kroger's, then Westborn. I got back just after noon. It was already hot!
I put away the groceries and then I changed into shorts and a t-shirt. I started getting the weeds out of the vegetable garden, but it was hot and sweaty work. So, I came in and I worked in the house (and the A/C, LOL) until it was time to grille. I fired up the charcoal and drank a beer until it was ready. I grilled five ears of sweet corn, brats and a ham steak.
I ate two ears of corn and two brats. Tasted excellent!
I watched a taped TV show and then read until bedtime.
