Hump Day

It was cold on Wednesday. Once the sun came up, it looked warm, but that was deceptive.

I went to the Newburgh Grill. I wasn't really hungry, so I just got a cup of tomato orzo soup. From there I went and got the truck washed. It's suppose to seriously snow on Sunday and next Tuesday, but I wanted to get the crud washed off.

Back home after work, I braved the cold to replace the burnt out security light on the south side of the garage. Then I refilled the bird and squirrel feeder before darkness fell.

I changed my clothes and started the Wednesday wash.

When I was shopping at Kroger, I wanted to buy some of that fresh pasta mushroom ag-whatever I really like. But they were out of it. So, I took a chance on Rana's fresh mushroom ravioli (portobello mushrooms and creamy cheese wrapped in thin pasta). I boiled that while I warmed up a jar of Alfredo sauce. I drained the pasta, topped it with the sauce and had an excellent dinner.

I couldn't find anything interesting on TV, so I watched a taped movie, "The Big Sleep" with Humphrey Bogart. Then I went to bed.

  1. “[M]ushroom ag-whatever” is mushroom agnolotti. I’ve never heard of Rana pasta, but it sounds interesting. I’ll see if they make tortellini your Granddaughter might like. Thank you, for the review.

  2. You didn't watch your favorite Movie......Hairspray live?

  3. @Jyl: Yes, that's the name. Thanks.
@GPF: Never heard of it, so didn't care.

  4. It's suppose to seriously snow on Sunday and next Tuesday.

I heard it was another polar vortex headed your way.
