It was another hot, humid day. My arthritis was officially killing me.

I went to the Big Boy and got the broccoli and ham soup with a half turkey sandwich on multi-grain bread for lunch.

It started to rain about 3:00 p.m. Naturally my windows were opened on the truck, so naturally I got wet closing them.

It had stopped by the time I left for home, but the freeway traffic was terrible  (stop and go all the way home).

There was a big puddle in my driveway, so I used the hoe to make a trench to the ditch.

I watered the container gardens on the front porch and the two big urns next to the garage door. They are all under the overhang of the roof, so do not benefit from rain.

I checked the gauge and we picked up a quarter of an inch from the afternoon storm.

I did a load of laundry and ate the rest of the steak with more sweet corn.

I watched the Olympics until bedtime, but didn't sleep well.
