Tuesdays Tale

It finally cooled off on Tuesday. Thank God! It was cloudy and overcast, but with just a 10% chance of rain.

Sidebar: Between May and June, we are over three inches of rain short here in Michigan. To all those smug Republicans who say there is no "global warming," bite me! The North Pole ice is melting, polar bears are dying and my garden is burning up!

I took the trash out to the road and left for work.

I had to go to the Livonia City complex, so I went to Sam's Place for lunch (they are next door to each other). I toyed with the idea of getting their homemade perogies, but it seemed like it would be too heavy on my tummy. So, I got a Coney dog with onion rings instead.

My afternoon walk was pleasant. It only got up to 74 degrees.

When I got home, I hooked up the drip hose and watered the vegetable garden (they had cut the lawn, finally).

I made tuna and peas for dinner.

I watched some TV but went to bed early.

  1. Perogies sound good. What kind do they have?

  2. Three kinds come with the order: potato, cheese and sauerkraut.
