Then it was Hump Day

It was almost chilly overnight, so I loved it. I stopped on the way to work and bought some yogurt for my mid morning snack.

Walking outside at 10:00 a.m. was beautiful.

I went to the Newburgh Grill for lunch. I got a cup of the tomato orzo soup and a patty melt. Both were delicious.

Then I drove into Plymouth to look at houses. Downtown was crowded and the park was packed. I had to keep stopping to let people cross the road. It's like the city of Farmington, with crosswalks everywhere, where the people have the right-of-way.

But some of the older houses are fantastic. It's an expensive place to live, but if I had the money...

My afternoon walk was warmer, but there was a nice breeze so I didn't mind.

Back home after work I changed and went out back. I got out  the lopping shear and went back to work, attacking the overgrown back garden. I probably got another third of it cleared before I decided enough was enough.

Back inside, I warmed up the rest of the tuna and peas and made a small salad. I topped the slad with Thousand Island dressing and had a nice light dinner.

Sidebar: Now, I can easily make a great, healthy salad dressing with olive oil and balsamic or red wine vinegar. But, I bought the Thousand Island dressing a while back for something (probably Reuben sandwiches) and now the expiration date is almost up. So, I'm trying to use it efore I have to toss it. I hate to waste food!!!

I watched some TV but went to bed early again.

  1. Plymouth is a nice area. Miss the farmer's market and bakery.

  2. It does seem like a nice place to live. Lots of people out strolling or hanging in the park.
