Thursday’s Tune

Thursday was yet another warm day. Weird, really for December in Michigan.

I went to the Newburgh Grille at lunch and got the beef vegetable soup and a patty melt. Then I went and got the truck washed across the street.

Vicky brought me in some spaghetti her Mom had made. She also offered me her lunch: chicken with rice and pigeon peas (she went to the gym instead of eating).

When I got home, I found the door to the bedroom had popped open (it does that sometimes – I think it’s temperature change or something). Naturally, Caley thought it would be a great time to barf on the bed!

Fortunately, she missed the bedspread (I didn’t take the time to make the bed this morning, thank God!) but the sheets, pillow cases and mattress cover all went into the wash machine.

I had several dinner choices, but I ended up making a salad and warming up the spaghetti. Both were great!

I was tired, so I didn’t turn on the hockey game. I just watched two taped TV shows and went to bed at 8:30 p.m. after remaking it.

  1. Perhaps if you slept on a bed of nails. Then the cat would be unlikely to hang around the bed and, if she did, the barf would fall betwixt the nails and you would be safe from contact. As they say in the industry, a bingo a bango.

  2. Damn! You are so good at thinking outside the box. I wonder why I didn't think of that?
