It was foggy when I went to work on Wednesday. As I’ve
stated before, this hardly ever happens in Redford. So, it was weird, but it
gave me the chance to use my fog lights, LOL!
It was also chilly. The fog went away, but it stayed chilly
all day.
I went to the Big Boy for lunch and got the broccoli soup
and a half sandwich (three cheeses and a tomato slice on grilled sourdough).
Then I walked across the parking lot to Busch’s Market. I got stuff I needed,
both for home in general and the Christmas potluck this coming Friday.
It started lightly raining around 3:00 p.m. and was still
doing that on the drive home.
Sidebar: It was supposed to switch to light snow sometime in
the evening when the temperature fell, but I never saw it. I forgot about it and never looked.
I made a big salad for dinner. I used romaine lettuce,
halved cherry tomatoes, sliced green onions and blue cheese chunks. I dressed
it with a homemade balsamic vinaigrette. I ate a bunch, but didn’t feel too
guilty.
I worked on the computer for a while. I didn’t feel like
watching TV, so I read until bedtime.
Welcome back to snowy, foggy, rainy Michigan
ReplyDeleteHey, do they serve the 1/2 sandwich all day? How much? and most important, is it good???
Yea, do you get the top half or the bottom half?
ReplyDelete@ GPF: LOL! Yes, they serve it it all day. It's $5.99 if you pick two, $6.99 when picking three. There are three half sandwiches offered. I've had two: the grilled cheese and tomato and the Philly cheese steak. Both were excellent.
ReplyDelete@ Jake: Hmmm... not sure. I'll check next time.
The wording on the Big Boy menu closest to your house only offers this, GPF:
ReplyDelete“Half Sandwiches
Multi-grain turkey, tuna salad three cheese grilled cheese & tomato”, no Philly cheese steak.
