Yesterday’s cold front brought in the cold this morning. And the slight wind didn’t help any.
So, I walked inside today.
I went to Max and Erma’s for lunch. I got a cup of their
tortilla soup and the southern chicken salad (lunch-sized with warm honey
mustard). Both were great.
Sidebar: I decided I needed a salad because on Wednesday,
when I made the pasta, I was going to make a salad to go with it. But I ended
up throwing away an unopened bag of Romaine hearts that was moldy. Sigh… I need
to put a sign on the fridge: “Remember the salad!!!”
Poor little lettuce…
Back home after work, I forgot (once again) to put out the snow
marker wands.
Sidebar: I don’t think my neighbor has plowed my driveway
ever since I bought the four-wheel drive truck. But, if he happens to, I damn
sure don’t want him to hit my landscape timbers!
Instead, I treated the cat, changed clothes and then got to
work on the computer. It was a payday, so I entered in the deposit and all the automatic
debit payments into the check register.
Sidebar: Other than doctor bills and my charity donations, I
don’t seem to write out any checks these days.
From there, I went to creating my grocery list. I have two
recipes I want to try this weekend, so it was a little involved.
Finally, I filled out the ToDo list.
I had planned on giving the cabinet doors their second coat tonight,
but by the time I finished, it was almost 7:00 p.m. So, they went on hold, for
now.
I warmed up the rest of the pasta for my dinner.
I watched the hockey game (we won!) and then went to bed.
