Tuesday (Monday’s ugly little sister)

It was cold (46 degrees) and windy with only a projected high of 58 degrees on Tuesday. So, I wore my jacket to work.

Sidebar: I hate to start wearing my jacket. It’s like I put a big sign on my back saying, “Yep! Summer’s over and, once again, I didn’t have half as much fun or get half as much done as I planned!”

On the other hand, I’ll always have Puerto Rico!

I went to the Newburgh Grill for lunch and had a cup of soup and a gyro. Then I went to CVS and picked up some toothpaste, mouthwash, toilet paper and a greeting card. I wasn’t out of these things (except for the greeting card) but I was getting there. I filled up the gas tank on the truck and then headed back to work.

When I got home after work, I retrieved the trash can and went inside. I was planning on drilling out those remaining three timbers, but then thought, “It’s cold out there and I still have time. I’m staying in tonight!” So, I did.

I made a simple lettuce and onion salad, then dressed it with bottled Italian dressing. Next I cooked a Marie Callender’s chicken pot pie in the Microwave and ate that for my entrée.

I watched both NCIS shows and went to bed at 10:00 p.m.

  1. I have SC skin now and that is way to chilly to work outside! Glad you stayed in and relaxed.

  2. It's true! Happens to the best of us.

  3. I think its a myth you Southerners use to scare us Yankees so we don't move down there!
