It was supposed to be a lot cooler and less humid on Thursday.
So, I didn’t bother wearing my Puerto Rican shirts and went with a short sleeve
shirt and a tee-shirt.
That was a mistake…
It was noticeably less humid, but still got up to 86 degrees.
I had to go to Lowe’s at lunch, so I ate at Max and Erma’s (thinking
their air conditioning might work better than the Newburgh Grill). It did!
I got a mushroom and Swiss burger (Emma sized) and ate most
of it and the fries. Then I went next door to Lowe’s and got more GroundClear
and Sevrin.
I walked outside in the afternoon, but didn’t like it.
When I got home, I treated the cat and changed clothes. I
watched the news until 6:30 p.m. to let the garage cool off. Then I went out and
worked until after 8:00.
I took everything off the workbench and then slowly dragged
it out (I made that sucker out of 2x12’s and its heavy!) Next, I pulled everything
off the west pegboard and put it on the south one, where possible.
When I quit, all I had left to do was empty the shelves and take them off the wall, plus remove a few things I still have mounted to the wall. Oh, and take down the pegboard, of course.
I am hoping I don't have to take down the shelves on the north side!
It was late and I was hungry, but I didn’t feel like making
dinner. So, I made some popcorn on the stove, topped it with some butter I
melted in the popcorn pan and salt.
I ate that watching TV and had a slice of watermelon for dessert.
I went to bed around 10:00 p.m.
