Back in the Deep Freeze

It was 10 degrees when I woke up Thursday morning. I had seen something I never had before during the night. When I went to the bathroom, it was lit up! WTF?

The ice glaze on top of the snow reflected the yard light on my neighbor’s rear garage so much there were shadows on the bathroom wall from my trees. Weird, but beautiful.

It was my boss’s birthday and we asked her where she wanted to go for lunch. She picked Time Out, so I called Dan (the owner) and reserved the three tables in the only area I can sit at comfortably. Vicky let Michelle know and she showed up as well. We had 12 people in all.

It was NOT my usual, quiet lunch…

But, the boss seemed pleased and it was her birthday, after all.

When I got home after work, I treated the cat, changed clothes and watched the news until 7:00 p.m. Then I warmed up the rest of the tuna and peas, dumped them over the rest of the herb buttered noodles and had a great supper.

I didn’t see anything all that interesting on the cable menu, so I started going through the taped shows (its filling up again). I either deleted or watched enough shows to bring it under 40% before I fell asleep.
