Sunday, Staying Home

I woke up early on Sunday morning. It was still raining.  I made some soft-boiled eggs for breakfast.

I ate the last of the ham salad for lunch.

It cleared up here around 1:00 p.m. So, I wrapped up the desk for delivery. I used some stretch wrap I had bought at Office Max. I think I can fit the special project into the truck cab, so I left that alone.

But then it started snowing here.

I let it ride until 3:00 p.m. then gave up. I called Betsy and apologized. She agreed she didn’t want the desk wet (she said the sun had shone a while back in Marine City). I suggested next weekend. She said she was getting her gallbladder removed on Friday and asked me to call her cell phone to see if she would be home before I left.

This is becoming a problem!

I spent the rest of the day relaxing in my chair, reading a book and eating pretzel sticks. I had planned on making stuffed chicken breasts, with mashed potatoes and steamed peas. But I was lazy and just ate some of the leftover roasted sausage, potatoes and Brussels sprouts.

I started to feel bad about myself, but then I realized, I nailed it!

  1. A little too ambitious for nailing it but you're getting there.
