I took a bathroom break around 3:00 a.m. on Tuesday and noticed it was
snowing. But, when I woke up at 5:30
a.m., I learned the storm had went south of us and we had less than an inch of
snow here.
However, it was 7 degrees! So, I dug out my goose down coat,
a hat and my gloves before I left for work. I took the trash can out to the
road and then took off.
The snow was on top of yesterday’s ice, so the ride in was
dicey.
I went to Ten Yen for lunch and got my favorite. I was the
only one in the restaurant, so my food came fast!
It warmed up to 20 degrees by the time I went home at 5:00
p.m. I got the trash can in and a box off the front porch (I was tipped off by
the footprints in the snow) I went inside. That’s when I discovered Caley had
barfed on the bedspread.
So, instead of relaxing, I cleaned up the mess, sprayed it
with Shout and started a load of laundry. Grrr…
I opened the box and found a can of O’Keeffe’s Working
Hands, the hand cream Carla told me about. She obviously ordered some for me.
Thanks!
I warmed up the roasted sausage, potatoes and Brussels
sprouts for my dinner.
I watched both NCIS and NCIS New Orleans and then got ready
for bed. Before I went to sleep, though, I put an extra blanket on the bed and
rubbed in some hand cream.
I'm glad you got the cream. I hope it helps.
ReplyDeleteJohn, let me know if it works........
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking care of the OLD Man, Carla
@ Carla: Thanks again!
ReplyDelete@GPF: Who you calling "OLD"? You're seven years older than me and not nearly so pretty!
No problem Uncle Carl, I got my eye on him ;)
