Wednesday's Woes

It was cold again Wednesday morning. Fortunately, I’ve had the furnace on for the past few days, so I didn’t notice it until I got out of the truck at work.

I went to Time Out for lunch and got a Rueben sandwich and some chicken gumbo soup. The soup sounded odd, but was pretty good. Their Rueben’s always are.

When I got home after work it was in the upper 70’s, so the house was warm inside (the air conditioner wasn’t on, if you recall). I just opened the windows as a pretty good wind had sprung up.

I checked and had to water the container gardens. So, after I changed clothes, I did that. I thought I’d get a chance to work on dividing the hostas, but just as I got the shovel out of the shed, it started to rain!

Back inside, it was almost 7:00 p.m., so I warmed up my pasta and ate it for dinner.

I watched a little TV, but called it an early night.

  1. I've been loving this cold front. Been mid-80s all week. Supposed to continue but now the rains are moving in until next Wednesday. Always something...

  2. Well, its been in the barely 70's for a high and a low in the 40's up here in Michigan. I've had the furnace on since Monday and I'm damn sure not loving it!
