As you probably guessed, I woke up late and had to rush to
work. NO MORE OLYMPICS AFTER 10:00 P.M.!!!
I went to Time Out and had a chicken Caesar salad. Then I
drove across the street to Belle Tire and had them look at my slow-leak tire. I
called Vicky to come and pick me up (it was prearranged).
My boss came in after we did and asked, “Wow! Who had the
onions and garlic? I admitted it was me. The Michelle came back from lunch and
said, “I smell onions!” Two other people who came in the office later both
remarked about onions or garlic. And, each time, everybody else laughed. So, I
guess my breath was pretty pungent!
The folks at Belle Tire called me at 2:00 p.m. and said I
had a screw in the tire! No wonder it had a slow leak. They fixed it for free for me! Maybe they fix tires
for free for everybody, but I appreciated it…
I treated the cats when I got home and then went out back. I
refilled the bird and squirrel feeders and put in a new suet cake for the
little red-headed woodpecker. I forgot to take a photo of my footprints in the
snow for my Brother Carl.
Back inside, I started the Wednesday night wash and turned
on the news.
I warmed up some slices of the pork loin after I made some Uncle
Ben’s wild rice for a change in sides. I took care of the clothes and then
watched the Olympics. But, I made myself turn them off at 10:00 p.m. Then I went
to bed.
