It was chilly when I woke up on Wednesday, but it turned out
to be a beautiful day. I saw the forecast, so I wore a short sleeve shirt and
left the jacket home.
I went home at lunchtime and, for once, didn’t stop at any
store first!
After work, I called Jake to see how things were going.
Carla answered the phone, so I got a two-fer!
After we hung up, I changed clothes. I had to reset the few electronic clocks in the house. They were all flashing, so the electricity must have gone out briefly sometime in the afternoon. Then I went in the garage and took the straw and
grass seed out to the shed. My original plan was to spread the straw, but it’s
too dry here, now. With no rain in sight except for a slight chance of showers
on Sunday, it would just blow around. So, I decided to wait.
I went and talked to my neighbor Rick over the fence for a
while. Then I finally, reluctantly, went inside.
I warmed up the last of the pasta for dinner. I watched some
taped TV and then went to bed.
