Chillin' on Sunday

I woke up Sunday morning, dreaming I was talking on the phone to my Mom. This is getting ridiculous! Now three out of the four of my kids have reported dreaming about Grandma Goerlich. Personally, I am hoping she is trying to tell me where she buried the family gold and jewels! I hope it's not at the old home place on 24 Mile Road or her house in New Baltimore (as they have both been sold). Maybe on the lot next door or at Waconda?

I warmed up a cup of coffee (I know, I know, Carl... but I hate to waste it). Then I posted the Blog entry.

BTW, I learned yesterday that my brother Joe broke his right wrist in three places and had surgery on November 2. So, he now has a plate and screws holding things together and he starts therapy next Tuesday. Sorry Joe and I hope you're feeling better.

I got the second load of laundry done and managed to check off two items on the ToDo list, but mostly I rested my leg (either reading or watching TV).

I took out hamburger and a frozen package of buns to thaw. When dinner time came, I made Sloppy Joes.

I watched my usual Sunday night shows and went to sleep at 11:00 PM.
