Friday night

Friday night I put up the wood quarter-round molding that covers the road side ends of the porch ceiling bead board. I had already painted it brown, so just used a little glue and some screws. Then I got the brown caulk and caulked until tube ran empty. By and large, it looks pretty good. But, as always, there are some spots that got a little wider than others and will need to be retouched with the ceiling paint (will this cursed job never end?) I hope to finish this completely over the weekend, but we'll see...

Sanded the second coat of polyurethane on the top porch rail with 200 grit sandpaper and applied a third coat. At least that's done done.

Grilled a steak and a sweet potato for dinner.
