Tuesday's Tale

I woke up early again on Tuesday. I ate some scrambled eggs for breakfast while watching the morning news. I finally shaved, showered and got dressed for my morning IV.

I called my barber and got an appointment for a haircut while I was still hooked up at the doctor's. So, I went there and got one. Then I stopped at Kroger's for some milk, eggs and a head of cauliflower.  I drove home dodging potholes. I was on Inkster when I saw a cargo van that hit one, shredding his tire. He didn't stop, but just kept riding on the rim!

I went for another late lunch with Amanda. We went to Olive Gardens (her choice, not mine). I had the eggplant Parmesan while she ordered something that looked suspiciously like chicken quesadillas (I forget what it was called). She offered to come home and help me with the fallen tree branch, but I told I would be okay.

So, when I got home, I went out back and cut up the fallen branch. I threw it all over the fence as it came off a tree from there.

Back inside, I changed clothes and started a load of laundry. Then I took a long nap.

When I woke up, I cut up the cauliflower. I briefly thought about roasting it in the oven, but just boiled it instead. I ate most of that with butter and salt for dinner.

My friend B___ called and we talked for a while. He said the weather in Arizona was ten degrees less than the 60 degrees we had up here! So much for being a snowbird.

I watched my usual Tuesday shows and went to bed at 11:00 p.m. I was beat.
