Thursday

It was back to winter (again) on Thursday. The lake in back was now an ice rink.

We had our quarterly "All Hands" meeting at 10:30 a.m. in the museum. There were donuts, coffee and bottled water. It ran over (of course), so I just went to Time Out and got a bowl of soup for lunch. Today's soup was French onion and when Amanda told Joe it was for me, he piled on the cheese.

So, it was embarrassing to eat. I'm glad nobody was sitting across from me! I had to keep pulling cheese strings out of my beard, LOL!

The wind picked up in the afternoon and it felt even colder. We also had occasional snow showers.

I was glad to get back to my warm little house.

I caulked the downstairs bathroom window (the one I put the molding on).

For dinner, I sauteed half a diced onion. Then I added a can of roast beef hash and had an excellent meal..

I watched some taped TV but turned in early again.

The Amish don't have this problem.
