The day before Friday the 13th

I had another bout of insomnia so I woke up and stayed from 3:00 a.m. on Thursday.

It was more damp and chilly than cold on the way into work. It started raining around 9:00 a.m. here.

Sidebar: We were lucky. It stayed above freezing, so it was just rain. They had winter weather advisories for Oakland, Macomb and St. Clair countries, citing the possibility of freezing rain.

It rained hard for quite a while, but was only a drizzle at lunch time. So, I just went to Time Out. I ordered the chicken quesadillas. It was good, but I couldn't eat it all. Then I went back to work. It was too miserable to run errands.

There was a train stuck on the Levan crossing since Wednesday morning. Going home on Thursday night, it was still there! So, I (and a million other cars and trucks) had to take Amrhein to Newburgh to get to the expressway.

Back home, I was tired, even though I had a cup of coffee instead of my usual cranberry juice. So, I didn't work on the bathroom. I watched the news until 7:00 p.m., then ate dinner: Cheesy Potato soup. I froze some the last time I made it and thawed out the container on Wednesday.

I watched one taped show and was asleep by 9:00 p.m.
