Saturday

I woke up at 5:15 a.m. as usual. I thought, "What the hell?" and went back to sleep until 7:30.

I did my morning rituals and then got dressed. I left at 9:10 a.m. for my haircut. We talked about Christmas decorations.

After my haircut, I went to Kroger's. I didn't make a list, as I "thought" I knew what I needed. This resulted in me over-buying and yet forgetting cat treats.

I stopped and filled up the truck with gas. I figured it was getting low. I put over 15.5 gallons in the 16 gallon tank, so I guess it was. I was surprised the low fuel light hadn't come on.

I left the truck outside so I could unload it. I noticed there were a couple of fallen branches in the front yard.

I unloaded the truck and got everything put away in the fridge, freezer or pantry. Then I went out front and picked up all the trash (people are so rude) and the branches. The trash went into a bag and into the trash can. The branches went into the the pile next door.

I put out a couple of Christmas decorations and swapped out the wreath for the lighted one I made years ago on Palms Road from a bicycle wheel.

I pulled the truck inside and buttoned everything up for the weekend. Its supposed to snow tomorow and I ain't going anywhere!

Before changing my clothes, I went out back to refill the feeders. Then I remembered I didn't buy any suet. Getting old is a bitch!

There were branches down back there, too. So, I walked the yard, picking up sticks and tossing them over the fence.

Back inside, I changed clothes. I had a number of thing on my ToDo list, but decided watching  football game and/or taking a nap was more important. So, I did both.

I ate a salami sandwich for dinner. Then I watched some forgettable TV shows waiting for Saturday Night Live (that's why I took a nap).

It finally came on. I laughed a lot and then went to bed when it was over.

  2. Thanks. I usually take everything down and redecorate but this year, I figured, why?
