Back to the grind...

It was chilly and windy on Monday morning. Thank God it was still above freezing as the roads were still wet from melting snow.

I went to Ten Yen for lunch and got my own personal "lunch special." That is to say, a bowl of Won Ton soup and an egg roll. I did get a lecture from my favorite waitress (about half of which I understood - she has a heavy accent) regarding my eating habits. She is sure I don't eat enough to stay healthy.

I spent the afternoon on an interesting, but frustrating new research project I've been given.

Once I was back home, I hunkered down.

I did do the last load of the weekend wash while I watched the news.

I warmed up a can of Grillin' beans and microwaved two more of the hot dogs for my dinner.

Sidebar: I diced up a small onion to top the dogs with. It was very mild, but very, VERY pungent! 12 hours later, the kitchen still smells like onions.

There was nothing much on TV, so I watched Jeremiah Johnson for the millionth time. I love that movie. Then I went to bed.

I was planning to write, "Did you let her know about the Grillin' beans" until you said...

Check out The Selection. Started on the History channel last Thursday. Probably in our On Demand. Enjoy it you would.
