Sunday Moanin'

I stayed up late on Saturday, so I woke up late on Sunday.

Damn! This weekend is slip-sliding away!!

I watched most of the morning news, drinking coffee.

Sidebar: Hillary (who I dislike) got a lot of flack for calling Trump supporters "the basket of deplorables."

Bad, but "I could just grab her pussy" from Trump? OMG!

Please vote for Gary Johnson. He may not be all that and a bag of chips, but he is our only hope this year.

Sidebar: I feel like I am in the Twilight Zone these days. I LIKE IKE! (and JFK) and I'm standing by that!

I needed a refill on Cope so I drove to the gas station and got five cans. Since I was out anyway, I drove across the parking lot to CVS and got my yearly flu shot.

The pharmacist who gave me the shot was wearing a hijab, which is not unusual around here. But, her assistant, who rang me up, was also a Arab. She had long, flowing hair and a mischievous smile and I instantly fell in love.

Sidebar: I only mention this because I am noticing a pattern. First it was women from India, then Latinos and now Arabs. What's next?

I appear to be on a slippery slope and you white bitches better jump in, LOL!

Back home, I started making my Sunday dinner. I quartered four medium-sized Yukon Gold potatoes. I put them in the Dutch oven and covered them with a bag of sauerkraut. Finally I sliced up the rest of the smoked sausage (from the dirty rice).I brought it to a boil and then turned it on low.

Then I got busy on the weekend wash. I did the bedding and then a load of work clothes. Finallly I did all the towels and my bathrobe.

By then I was getting hungry, so I fixed a bowl of pure comfort food. My finger was still bleeding off and on and now my upper arm hurt from the shot. So. I called it a day (a very, very non-productive day, sigh...) I watched some TV but went to bed early (I didn't get my nap, today).
