Finaly Friday!

There were no clouds on Friday morning and the temperature was supposed to soar! But, at least it's not supposed to humid.

Sidebar: Not only here, but out West and in the South, the heat is supposed to be brutal. I am definitely NOT a Summer or Winter guy. I like the mild temps of Spring and Fall. So, where the hell should I live? Tennessee? Or do the "Snow Bird" thing and stay in Michigan in the summer and stay in Puerto Rico through the winter? I dunno...

Spain. Maybe Spain...

Or maybe Malta. They have some beautiful women there...

But, I digress.

Miss Victoria asked me where I was going to lunch. I said I didn't know.

Sidebar: I really don't know until I leave at noon. Then I decide.

So, I suggested several restaurants. She turned them all down. She said she wanted "something light, but not a salad." She finally settled on Panera. She got her usual broccoli and cheese soup in a bread bowl. I got a half of chicken salad sandwich with a cup of clam chowder soup. The sandwich was excellent. The soup? Meh. We ate outside in the shade.

Sidebar: I wish I lived closer to Mount Clemens. My brother Carl found a fantastic restaurant if you want a half sandwich and soup! I forget the name, but it was great.

The afternoon passed slowly, as a Friday and payday usually does. It was hot when I walked outside in the afternoon.

I went and got my hair cut after work. I originally scheduled this for Saturday morning, but I forgot Saturday was the zoo walk.

So, I got home late. I treated the cat and then went out to check the plants. Nothing seemed to need water yet (but the next rain forecasted is on Tuesday and its supposed to be in the 90's until then, here in Redford).

Sidebar: There goes my water bill, sigh...

My friend B___ called and we talked a long time, catching up.

I warmed up the rest of the steak and sweet corn for dinner. I was out of horseradish, so I topped the steak with A1 Sauce.

I fell asleep watching TV.
