When I woke up Thursday, I took my morning pills except for the Prilosec! I am not going through that again!!!

I did manage to eat half a piece of toast and keep it down.

It was cold today and snowed off and on all day. It looked and felt like winter.

I got a text from Vicky. She and Yanessa were finally back home and both were going to get some rest today. Great news! Poor little kid...

I got that late call from Tri-County.

Sidebar: That name always sound like an auto service center.

They are switching my prescription from that damn Prilosec to something called Protonix (sp). I had them call it into CVS.

I was araid to go and eat lunch at a restaurant. I am well liked at many of the nearby ones, but I doubt they would take kindly to me eating a few bites of food and then throwing up. Restaurants tend to frown on that...

So, I went to Arby's, got a roast beef meal and took it back to work. I did good! I managed to eat most of the sandwich, some of the fries and all of the cola.

And I managed to keep it down!!!

I drove home through heavy snow showers. I stopped at CVS to get my new meds. Since I was there anyway, I popped in next door and got some chicken fried rice for dinner (I'm getting brave, and hungry).

Back home, I treated the cat and then ate some fried rice. It was delicious, as always. I took my nightime pills (including my Protonix).

I went and sat in the living room, reading a book with a blanket and the fireplace going until the Red Wings game came on. Then I went and watched the Florida Panthers kick the sh*t out of our guys 6-3. Groan...

I read in bed until 11:00 and then went to sleep.

Update: I had no side effects form the new prescription, except for having a weird dream about eating some kind of warm side dish at my niece Hannah's house (huh?), made with potatoes and huge chunks of Velveeta cheese...

  1. Glad to hear you're better! Have a great weekend!

  2. Thanks! You guys do the same...

  3. That's great that you kept it down but... does your mouth feel clean?
