I am currently mourning the loss of my two handled big fry pan. I was making lunch on Saturday (smoked sausage, fried potatoes and onions - a "bad-for-you-but-tastes-so-good" perennial favorite). I used the mandolin I'd bought a while back for the first time, and it was sooo cool, perfect slices of potatoes, every time, that I made too many and had to use the big pan (don't normally)
When everything was done, picked it up and the long handle snapped off! Luckily it was still above the stove and little was spilled, but now I have no big frying pan! And, worse yet, I remember I bought it in an odd place (Farmer Jacks, Meijers, Home Depot?), but not where exactly!
Damn!
